Student Privacy and Safety
Every student gallery is private and protected by a unique online code. For student safety, our office only releases a code when a parent or guardian provides the student’s name, school, and student ID number. Photos are used only to provide your school’s photography services.

With four offices in Lincoln, Norfolk, Omaha, and South Sioux City, our team is close to the schools we photograph. Our South Sioux City office serves the Siouxland area, including Sioux City, Sergeant Bluff, Le Mars, Hinton, and Westwood. Our Lincoln office serves Lincoln-area schools, and our Norfolk and Omaha offices serve schools across northeast and eastern Nebraska. Being local means you work directly with the people who take your photos.

Do you photograph schools in Iowa?
Yes. Our South Sioux City office serves schools in the Sioux City, Iowa area, including Sergeant Bluff, Le Mars, Hinton, and Westwood.
What happens if a student is absent on picture day?
We schedule a Make Up Day for students who missed picture day or need a retake.
How do families order photos?
About a week after picture day, each student brings home a paper with their photo and a private online code. Families use that code to view the gallery and order online. Codes are also usually emailed to the primary parent or guardian.
Does our office have to answer parent questions about orders?
No. Our team handles family questions about codes, orders, and shipping by email at support@dsschools.com.
Do you photograph sports teams and activities?
Yes. We photograph team and individual sports photos as well as other school activities and groups.
We are thinking about switching photographers. How does that work?
Changing photographers is easier than most schools expect. Email us and we will walk your team through scheduling, family communication, and picture day planning, or send a full proposal for your district.
